This is Part 2 on our Spiritual Fasting series. In Part 1, we learnt that there are actually 3 reasons why most people on a fast:

This series is on the biblical ways in which we fast and how to properly engage while fasting so that we get results. This course looks at Dry Fasting, Partial Fasting, Daniel Fast and Esther Fasts.
In the Daniel Fast we see that this is not really a fast but more of a nutritional diet plan that accommodates mental clarity and focus. This has also been studied by science extensively.
While there is still an ongoing debate in the medical field about this, and you can find articles that support eating meat and dairy products as well as those that say we should be eating a plant based whole food diet, it is clear through the scriptures and Daniel’s experiences that he did in fact receive wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment while eating this way. We also have many who join our Daniel Fast yearly that can attest to the mental clarity and having more dreams and visions while eating this way for a week. Daniel did it for 10 days and had favorable results.
