Prayer Series: The Lord's Prayer- Part 3

This is the 3rd and final part of a series on The Lord Prayer.  This prayer can be found in 2 sections in the bible Luke 11:1-4 and also Matthew 6:5-13.

The Lord’s prayer is broken down into 3 parts or components that is the formula to how this prayer works and how all other prayers modeled using this same template will work

They are:

1.  Reverencing God which means recognizing who God is by His attributes and characteristics.  You can also see this in the names of God.
2. Asking for what you need today.  God wants you to ask according to His will because this is how prayers will be answered.  He is never going to give you what is not His will.
3. Acknowledging your sins. It is imperative when you come before the Lord that you repent for your sins because sin separates us from God.

When all 3 components are present in any prayer, it will be answered.

In this 3rd and final part we look at acknowledging your sins and how this will round out the perfect prayer.
